Bioshock Infinite
The game no doubt looks amazingly beautiful. Right when you land in Columbia, you will find yourself in the charismatic church with water pools and floating candles. Bioshock Infinity shows very realistic graphics in terms of lighting and water. Specially when you are going down the church stairs and the water is running on the surface the light reflected by the candles is astonishing. It is the best scene according to me.
After being baptized you wake up in a garden, the feel of the environment itself is appealing. The atmosphere is pretty bright and feel of the whole game is very clam and serene. In the beginning, you just cant resist looking around, taking a stroll in the city and admire the art work.
Moving on to the game-play well I didn't find it very interesting and unique though but I did have fun while playing the missions. You get vigours which provide you some inhumane powers. And there's salt to power them up. The bad thing about the powers is you kinda run out of salts quickly. The good thing is that its not hard to find the salts, they are easily available in every location. You get equipped with some interesting powers. Columbia is a sky land so you have sky lines all over the city. You can travel from one building to another using them. Its quite interesting more like teleporting just that its not as instant. And there are guards all over the city, all of them well equipped with weapons. So you can get your hands on different guns as well and loot them obviously. There's not much to explore in the rooms, all you can find is some food, coins and salts.
Moving on to the the character which the game is all about ..... Elizabeth. She is beautiful, I extremely love the way the character was designed. Her eyes are angelic !!! She is a jolly person, you will definitely love how she sometimes hops while walking. And she is very helpful. You don't need to protect her while in combat because surprisingly no one attacks her (Poker Face). But yeah she is handy while you are fighting. She will find ammo, health kits and salts for you. So you don't have to worry about running out of any of them. She can bring you back to life by injecting something (Poker Face) but everytime she heals you it'll result in loss of some amount of money and the enemies will regain health as well. Also, she has some quite interesting power where she can open some kind of window to another dimension and bring stuff into the present world. You can use her power to your advantage. Moreover, she best at lock picking .... and she is adorable what else do you need :P
The game takes a lot of loading time, which is irritating !!! There are a lot of side missions and missions connected to another missions. Very often you'll find yourself going to one place and to access that place you might have to find something which is far away from there and then again go to the same place.
Although I didn't quite understand the ending well, I did like the stroy and plot of the game. Its unique and confusing. But at least its different.
I'd give :
8/10 for Art/Graphics
7/10 for Game-play
8/10 for Story-line
8/10 for the Concept
